‘Red, White, Blue, Orange; Of Dutch Origin'

Throughout the year 2015, Dutch Design Hotel Artemis celebrates its 10th anniversary. As a preview on the festivities, the 1st Dutch Design Hotel in the world opted for a purely Dutch theme for the exhibition of March. After all the hotel is dor already 10 years with his Dutch Design & Art exhibitions a platform for both established and starting Dutch designers and artists. No less than 9 exhibitors at varied waym what's in these typical Dutch, but also cheerful spring-like colours, designed in creative Holland. Of lighting design and visual arts to product design such as shoes, bags and interior objects. 

Highlights

The designer duo Visser and Meijwaard shows their latest collection called Truecolors with red, white, blue and orange-colored furniture. And spotted during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven; Rose Sanders, with her collection 'The Room Whisperers' including prints in blue/white, but also a candlestick with human characteristics which tells the old Dutch story about Bartje (a precocious Dutch boy that never wanted to listen to what he was told). Man large medallions by Carina Wagenaar are specially for this exhibition performed in the theme colors. They are filled with contemporary 3D materiala and scenes inspired by Dutch paintings masters such as Rembrandt's Night Wacht and the Milkmaid by Vermeer. Additionally, scarf Ingepolderd by Studio Geanne is an ode to the Dutch people who have fought and built against the power of raging water.
