Dreams are another reality that we actually experience. During our sleep, in the free associative process of our brain, events and encounters arise that do not exist in waking reality. In dreams we process events, thoughts and fantasies that occupy our subconscious. Translated into surrealism with elements of abstraction.

Dreams are fundamental and elusive within us.

Somewhere between sleep and wakefulness, between reality and imagination, images and stories arise that can surprise us. There we live our dreams and we are taken to another world.

These photos are a reflection of the inner world and the stories that live there. The meaning of the images is not a fixed fact, but a continuous process of discovery and imagination.

About his work

Dreams and landscapes where dreams arise are my inspiration for this series of images. Dreams are fundamental and elusive within us.

I allow myself to be guided by the symbolism and emotions that emerge in my dreams and I try to visualize them by playing with light, color and composition.

My photos are a reflection of my inner world and the stories that live there.

This way of photographing has made me more aware of my own dreams. It's fascinating to

discover what our subconscious sometimes tries to tell us.

Dreams are a fascinating and valuable source of inspiration for me. Photography and dreams have now become inseparable for me and I keep looking for new ways to combine these two worlds, using my camera as a dream catcher.

From the age of 10 I feel the love for photography. My interest in modern art inspires me in photography.

The artistic impression of each photo or series of images is important to me. Making 'other images' in photography is what drives me.

I followed my studies at the Photo Academy in Amsterdam and graduated. I have also published a photo book 'DREAMS', which has received rave feedback from the world of photography and art.
